Regalia

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects for some amazing people. I have often used these opportunities to learn new skills while I make beautiful things for my friends.

A Rainbow Pelican

Split Stitch Embroidered Medalion

My first bit of Elevation regalia made for Sabine de Kerbriant in June of 2022.

The Battle of Little Birds

Silk Split Stitch and “Silver Work” silk Cloak

I made this fencing style cloak for Wentlyanna Bengrek. It was given at Riverwar 2022. Wentlyanna received her Pelican largely for her work with youth fencing. Hence, the fighting birds.

Appliqued Pelican in a Laurel Wreath

Applique in Wool with Stem Stitch

This medallion was made for Camile de Jardin’s elevation to the Pelican at Great Northeastern War 2023. This was my first project in applique

Queen Ann’s Lace

Applique in Wool with Stem Stitch and French Knots

When I joined the SCA I was welcomed into the Black Boot Company, the newcomer household in my barony. And from this moment I was adopted by Ysmay de Lynn and Mael Eoin Mac Echuidh. I made these two pelicans as gifts celebrating my graduation of not being a newcomer any more in 2023.

Ysmay’s favorite flowers are Queen Anns Lace.

A Brewing Bird

Applique in Wool with Stem Stitch

When I joined the SCA I was welcomed into the Black Boot Company, the newcomer household in my barony. And from this moment I was adopted by Ysmay de Lynn and Mael Eoin Mac Echuidh.

Mael Eoin is an accomplished brewer and cook who has taught me how to make Kvas and fed me on many occasions.

Hat fit for a Bird

Tallerbaret made of wool and basketry, with feathers, wool applique and goldwork.

This project was a continuation of my hat experiments in the summer of 2023 as a gift for Elizabeth Talbot on her elevation to the Pelican at Riverwar 2023.
